I am currently in Thessaloniki, Greece, working as a
Research Associate in Biomedical Engineering at the
Medical Informatics Lab
within the Medical School of
AUTH,
as well as a part-time lecturer in electronics at the
Dept. of Automation
of ATEITH.
In the past, this site hosted my web pages while I was studying for my PhD in the Neural Networks group, in the School of Electronics and Engineering of the University of Edinburgh. The project I focused on involved VLSI electronics design and the study of neural networks: a hardware implementation of the Helmholtz Machine stochastic & unsupervised neural architecture.
Here is a list of my publications to date.
Since I don't have much time for lengthy self-presentations, here's a link to an old (2002) bookmarks file I maintained while I was a PhD student. There is enough stuff in there to get the picture.
