Please note
- Not all articles are as "serious" as these - many deal with more frivolous issues and Rupert ephemera. The Followers is a broad organisation and members' specialities range from a "serious" (if not po-faced!) interest in childrens' literature to a desire to own every possible pair of Rupert socks!
Members can buy raffle tickets for the annual raffle with many exclusive prizes not on sale elsewhere. The Followers have a library containing copies of most newspaper strips plus all Annuals and many other books that are available for loan to members. Members may use the "Nutwood Advertiser" supplement to the newsletter to buy, sell and swap Rupert items. In addition, the Followers' publish irregular "Nutwood Specials" that offer longer articles on Rupert and his creators and a series of "lost Rupert" stories (the "Bestall Reprints" series) unavailable from any other source.
